Infundibulum Divo
Divo means marvel. It is the name of Infundibulum’s SS2020 collection and of the fashion film I shot for it.
It is a film about how myths are made. When we meet something unknown, something that fits nothing we have known before, it confuses us, and we need an explanation.
In the old villages, a mythological view of the world is still alive, even as the people who hold it disappear. In their eyes, everything new and strange becomes a marvel. And what is ordinary to them becomes a marvel to us.

We went deep into the Ryazan region, to Izhevskoe, once the richest village in the empire. Its population fell steadily through the 20th century, and many of its houses now stand empty and crumbling. The village is disappearing. The myth remains.
