A Perfect Job
In March 2018, Éditions du Seuil published Sven Hansen-Løve’s first novel, Un Emploi Sur Mesure. The American director Thomas Burns and I shot a short film to promote it.
Once the concept and the script were set, we ran tests. Lots of them. Literally.
This was the fourth project in my long collaboration with Sven. See the portraits I made of him on different assignments over four years.
We shot the whole film on an Arriflex 435, one of the best-known 35mm film cameras in the world.
